Being part of the working blue collar class, Roseanne uses her common sense and tough love raising three children. She uses humor, sarcasm and eye rolling to deal with her family and friends (who doesn't?). Roseanne is an outspoken individual with quite a vivid imagination (as seen in the final season!).
