Debut Year: 1976 (in books), 1996 (on television)
Buster Baxter is one of the main characters of the book series Arthur and Arthur's best friend. This book series was eventually turned into a 30 minute education children's program in 1996 and new episodes are still being produced and aired. Buster loves aliens, eating and traveling with his dad (who is a pilot) around the world. He became such a fan favorite character that he got his own education spin-off show titled Postcards from Buster which ran from 2004-2008.
