The Energizer Bunny, a pink toy bunny who wears sunglasses and sandals while beating a drum, was North America's answer to the Duracell Bunny who proved very popular in Europe & Australia. The Energizer Bunny became so popular that famous pop culture icons including but not limited to Darth Vader, The Wicked Witch Of The West, King Kong and Boris & Natasha began appearing opposite of him in commercials trying to destroy or capture the bunny only to run out of steam while the Energizer Bunny just kept going and going. In fact, the term "Energizer Bunny" became part of North America's daily slang for anything that continues endlessly.
